    Absolutely fantastic week at the Layar. Ideal location, peaceful and perfect for families with children. The staff was very attentive and even added a pool fence for safety. Loved the cozy villa design and having Netflix was a bonus. The room service was superb too. Highly recommend

    Very well mantained and luxurious villas. We had one afternoon problems with our WiFi, but that was fixed by the end of the day. Very friendly staff as well!

We used Andi from Bali tour driver for 4 of our full day trips he was very knowledgeable accommodating and an efficient and safe driver so we would highly recommend Andi .And a stay at the Layer property

    Superb stay at The Layars - We were 3 couples staying for 3 nights in Villa 12. The villa is very comfortable, well appointed with a great pool. The breakfasts were fantastic, and our dinner at the restaurant was superb! Best of all was the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff, especially Tris, Cherry and Veli.

    Incredible service at the Layar - I could not speak highly enough of these villas. The services provided were so perfect for my family and I and especially mentioning the server Laura who learnt our names on the first day and was always so attentive to us.     We stayed here for one week! Its location is great and is in walking distance to a Main Street in Seminyak, with some amazing restaurants. Our villa was massive, and the pool was huge for a private villa for two people. All the staff were very attentive of us. We loved our time at the Layar!

    Stunning villa and excellent service - We stayed in Villa 13, a 3 bedroom villa which exceeded all our expectations in terms of design, comfort and layout. Stunning design, beautiful pool, air conditioning in the bedrooms and ceiling fans in the main areas which was all we needed.The staff were incredible, all communication by whatsapp was responded to instantly and they bent over backwards to help us with anything at all. A very generous breakfast was included as well. The villas are right in the heart of Seminyak but so peaceful and quiet you could be anywhere. Absolutely brilliant, highly recommend.

    We were a party of 6 adults and 4 children. The 3 bedroom villa was perfect for our needs. Well spaced and designed so that each family had their privacy while in their rooms but also being able to converge in the open plan living areas and keep an eye on the kids while they swam and played. It was the service however that was above and beyond my expectations. From the time of booking, everything proceeded with such ease. Nothing was too much trouble and every complain from a faulty toilet to noisy neighbours was dealt with in mere minutes. We loved having fantastic breakfasts in our villa which were always served on time and still hot from the kitchen! We have already recommended it to all our friends and would love to return in the future.

    The villa was fantastic. It's was spacious and comfortable. With the addition of the pool safety gates we were able to enjoy our stay with 2 young children (although still supervised at all times when outside). The staff were so helpful and accommodating. The babysitting service was excellent. Highly recommended.

    We rent villas all the time in Bali and this one was fantastic. They helped us arrange anything needed and were great in dropping our group off at locations with the golf cart. There were also no mosquitoes at this place which was great. I would absolutely recommend this place, you can't beat the location.

    We had a fantastic stay at the Layar for our friend's hen party. The staff were excellent and the villa itself is simply stunning. There is a great deal of privacy considering the proximity to the other villas and it was extremely quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed a massage in the villa and the therapists were fantastic. We ordered some coffees to the villa and a staff member even came and made them in the villa to ensure they were hot!

    The Layar villa was really lovely, and the service from the staff was very good. The villa is set up as an open living area - meaning that the area was unable to be closed off to the weather - and the bedrooms were separate and air conditioned. The bathrooms were all outdoors. The setup has advantages of easy access to and from the pool to the living areas. The downside is that it is unable to be cooled down - you are reliant on a cool breeze or an overhead fan which is so high it is merely decorative and not functional. We found that the kids were regularly disappearing off to bedrooms for some relief from the heat once the day was in full swing and they'd had enough of being in the pool. The location is excellent. It was literally two doors down from Peppers, which is where we stayed last time. The staff were very helpful, with the butlers being particularly so and would drive us around to places on the little buggies if they were not too far away. They also arranged trips for us when we asked, which was useful. We only tried the onsite restaurant once but the food quality was excellent. Breakfast was either delivered to the villa or had in the restaurant, and either was okay for us. All in all, we had a great trip and would only caution about the open living area as something that may not work for everyone when the temperature is an unrelenting 33 degrees.

    Beautiful experience. Everyone was so friendly. The villas were private and well maintained. The in house spa and BBQ was excellent and the buggy into town was so convenient. It was great having both air conditioned as well as indoor/outdoor spaces.

    Amazing Villa. Two families in a 3bed villa and we all had enough room. Open planned and great pool. The Staff where amazing and the free 'golf cart' into town was a real treat. The breakfast was HUGE and delivered to our room each morning. The media room was nice up stairs to chill out in. Great internet. House keeping were so polite and happy. We had a child sitter arranged through the villa and they were very professional. A few mosquitoes but they sprayed the villas and provided spray. Definitely stay here again!

    Outstanding in every way! The facilities were amazing and the service and staff attitude, along with the meals and the general cleanliness was far above expectation. The privacy, although amongst a group of villas was incredible. We didn't want to leave. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, when asked. They happily organised taxis for us, or took us themselves in the buggy, arranged bookings for restaurants and tours. Perfect for the kids. They would have been happy, as would the adults, to simply stay in the villa for the duration of the holiday. The pool was awesome, and the size just perfect for laps or just lolling about. Thank you so much! We will be back.

    I would highly recommend The Layar!!! The villas are absolutely beautiful with huge rooms and a great outdoor area. We had a three bedroom villa with three couples, there was enough space for us to either all sit together or spread out. The pool is amazing and a decent size! We had private massages in our rooms and i would have to say mine was the best i have ever had! The staff were very helpful and super friendly. We felt very comfortable and at home at The Layar. I would most definitely stay there again. Thank you for making our stay such a great one!!

    Great location close to Eat Street and the Layar buggy service to Seminyak Square and surrounds was very convenient. Bedrooms in the villa suited our family of 5 (our teenager had a room to herself and the two youngest shared a room closer to the master bedroom), but wouldn't suit a family with all small children due to second bedroom distance from master. The pool was great for our 5 year old with long wide steps that graduated in depth so she felt very safe swimming in the pool. The new restaurant was fantastic and the breakfasts and room service were excellent. Would definately return for another visit.

    The Layar was a delight from the time we got to the reception for check in - chilled welcome drinks in champagne flutes, spiffy buggies to take us to the room, beautifully landscaped avenues and a chic, modern design scheme that was an elevation from the typical 'Balinese Villa' experience. The development is rather cosy, but the villas are well spaced and once you get past your door you can't see your neighbours. The pool was a little smaller than the pictures suggested, and we would have liked to have had a bigger pool, but it was well designed, clean and well maintained. Breakfast is provided daily from a generous menu and served in villa and the complimentary buggy service to most parts of Seminyak is hugely convenient and makes getting around so so easy, especially because of the central location. The staff were very helpful in arranging all types of activities and making reservations and had solid recommendations too. The in-villa massages definitely also added to the luxury! Would be back in a heartbeat!

    Very friendly, professionally trained staff which is very attentative and helpful. We aslo enjoyed the free buggy service from the hotel to the Seminyak town area or Ku De Ta restaurant (only drop off until 6pm and no pick up back to the hotel which was not a problem at all). The breakfast is simply gorgeous and there is something delicious for every taste. The food was immaculate!! Even though there are lush gardens in front of every bathrooms and the pool side there was not a big problem with mosquitos at all because the hotel does fogging twice a week (which is done as discretely and fast as possible; even if you are in the villa during that time just hide in the bedrooms for 10-15min). Overall a great experience and a relaxing holiday. Definitely recommended, worth every cent and hopefully we will be able to go back to this luxurious villa! Thanks to all the staff for making our stay such a memorable one!!

    Our 3 bedroom Villa was beautiful & spacious, with a great size pool. The staff were very helpful, prompt & happy to see us all the time. The buggy transport to Seminyak centre was very handy however we also like to walk the short distance to Seminyak Centre too. Thank you for a wonderful stay & I would definitely recommend The Layar to anyone looking for a great time away!

    The Layar villa that we stayed in was amazing! It was above what we could have imagined from the pictures. The villa had a very open, relaxed feel to it. We felt so comfortable and safe staying there. The pool was the best aspect of the villa! We look forward to coming back!

    Great villa in a great location. Fewer than 10 minutes of walking from the entrance of villa is a busy main street with lots of restaurants & convenience stores. Villa itself has probably one of the biggest swim pools among all villas. Rooms & bathroom are very nice, modern, & spacious. All staff from reservation, front desk to room service staff were extremely friendly, nice, courteous, & helpful!!! They are just EXCELLENT!!!!

    Amazing! Loved everything about this gorgeous stylish Villa. Once you close the gate it is so quiet and peaceful you may as well be the only people on earth. Absolutely loved my stay just wish I could have afforded to stay longer. Will definately be back though I have started saving already.     We stayed at villa 11 with the rest of the family at villa 8. I can't find anything to fault about our stay at the layar! the staff were wonderful and the villa beautiful! loads of room and beautifully clean and well kept. We felt so secluded and "at home".there. The beds were very comfortable and bathrooms gorgeous. We have stayed at a lot of different hotels and villas in Bali but this must be the best in terms of service and design. Thanks for our very relaxing stay.

    Wow, where to start. From the moment you walked into the Villa it was amazing and looked just like the photos do on the website. The gardens are beautiful, the pool was is awesome and was huge and as for the bedrooms you couldn't tell which was the master as all the bedrooms and bathrooms were enormous. The airconditioning worked very well in all bedrooms. The staff were fantastic, very attentive and nothing was ever too much trouble. The 3 bedrooms villas were huge and spaced well apart from each other. We holidayed with our 2 teenage boys who loved every minute of the villa. We have travelled to many places but this will definetly be one of our favourites and will be back for sure. The villas are perfect for everyone, whether its a family, couples or a group of friends.

    We had a lovely time here! Staff were v attentive & responded promptly to all our requests. The villa was really nice although the hot weather made the living room area rather warm to sit in; one of the housekeepers noticed our discomfort with the heat & taking the initiative, brought an extra fan in for us which was much appreciated! Otherwise, we just ended up chilling in the pool! Spa was excellent! Loved the massages & body scrub. Most of all, we had a late evening flight & were v grateful for a late check out. We have already recommended the villa to our friends! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
